Nathaniel B. Norton House
This is a whalers home built in Old Portmouth later moved to Cold Spring. After weeks of danger, exposure, and privation at sea it must have seemed a very snug haven. The rather crude but sturdy construction is typical of many homes built in the 1700’s.
