For those in the know, Smithville’s Oktoberfest tradition has become synonymous with great food and family fun. On October 5 & 6 2024, from 10am-5pm, Smithville presents over 100 Juried Crafters, an International Food Court, Music, Kids Activities, non- Profit organizations and more. All of this food and fun in addition to over 60 shoppes, Carousel rides, Train rides, Paddle boats, 7 eateries, and antique arcades that grace the Smithville Village year round!
Each year, the Historic Smithville Village becomes host to a giant celebration of authentic autumnal food, beer and music. The village gets hopping with hundreds of visitors who are ready for Fall.
In addition to over 60 regular store fronts, the festival brings in an additional 100 vendors who set up shop in the parking lot. Filled with handmade crafts, clothing and jewelry there is something to please everyone . Throughout the village you will also find nonprofit organizations with raffles, information and items for sale. There are a lot of fun kids activities such as giant jumping house, duck pond game and face painting.
Your plan for the day: After filling up on our fabulous international food court it’s time for some fun and, of course, shopping. Let the kids show off their cool new face-paint in a giraffe “jumporee”. Learn about the joys of adopting a Greyhound, have a family portrait done caricature-style, feed the ducks before joining them in a paddle around the pond or get a jump on some holiday shopping after tasting a deep-fried Oreo cookie.
Oktoberfest in the Historic Smithville Village is a great time for the entire family–even the dog! No matter what style, hobby or interest, there’s something for everyone at this fun-filled autumn festival!
